MeticAI does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything stays on your device and your local network.
We don't use analytics, tracking pixels, cookies, or any form of telemetry. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no data sent to external servers.
MeticAI runs entirely on your own hardware — a Raspberry Pi, Mac, or PC on your local network. It communicates directly with your Meticulous espresso machine over your local network. No cloud services are involved in the operation of the app.
If you choose to use the AI-powered features (profile generation, shot analysis), your espresso data is sent to Google's Gemini API using your own API key. This is optional and entirely under your control. We have no access to your API key or the data you send.
The only external service MeticAI can interact with is Google Gemini, and only if you explicitly configure it. No data is shared with us or any other third party.
MeticAI is fully open source. You can inspect every line of code on GitHub.
